GoToMeeting instructions for Remote Demos, Training and Support

Gotomeeting is an online meeting service, it enables people to screen share and communicate via the internet. We often conduct remote demonstrations and trainings using the gotomeeting system. This is a great way for us to communicate with clients and potential clients at distance, it enables us to demonstrate the Asyra Pro to you at your own convenience and all you need is a computer and an internet connection.

It will be easiest if you are setup with audio on your PC so we can speak without using the telephone. But this is not a necessity. To get ready for your session, please navigate in your internet browser to this page http://www.joingotomeeting.com (if you do a google search, it may NOT be obvious which link to go to). You should then see a screen with letters reading ‘Join the Meeting’ in large blue letters. Enter the meeting ID number in the box provided underneath called ‘Join the Meeting’ and then click continue. We will provide you with a meeting ID when we speak to you over the phone or we will email you the ID before the session. Once you have entered the meeting ID you will need to proceed through the process of downloading the software; you will experience security warnings appearing as you click through this process. Simply select ‘Yes’ or ‘Allow’ on each prompt that appears.

During the final step of the ‘gotomeeting’ installation process you will be asked to enter your name and email address. After completing this final step you will see a large menu load on the right hand side of your screen, you will see your name and any other attendees of the meeting and you will see the name of the presenter of the meeting highlighted in bold. Please make sure that your PC audio is switched on and adjusted and also ensure that you go to ‘audio’ and tick ‘microphone and speakers’ if the meeting is not being conducted via telephone.
